Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: Okay, Murray admitting he just likes to complain and wants to work made my heart happy? It was so lovely and true to what we know.

CHICAGO MED: Okay, Natalie realizing how Crockett’s DNA could end up on a crime scene was pretty freaking badass. The show was lucky that the combo of that storyline and Ethan’s really did make it feel finale-esque. But given how recently he and April broke up, will that experience be enough to really reunite them?

I’m still struggling with Will and Hannah, though, because she really needs to not be in a relationship until she’s sober a year. [For more on what went down and what’s to come, here’s what the executive producers had to say.]

SCHOOLED: It speaks to our current times that I was weirdly jealous of CB’s spite party. I want cheese with friends!

CHICAGO FIRE: This is absolutely dark, but I was worried—when it seemed like Capp was seriously injured—that when his colleagues found him in his dark apartment that he was on the verge of killing himself. (I’m thankful that’s not the path the show actually went down.)

But, um, what the heck is going to happen with Foster? In theory, we should want her to get into school, but it seems semi-impossible for her to continue on with 51 if she does. So is Brett about to get another new partner? [For a little tease of what’s to come, here’s what EP Derek Haas had to tease.]

CHICAGO P.D.: I loved this episode and LaRoyce Hawkins was an absolute MVP. This definitely felt like a finale, and how the heck is Intelligence going to get out of this? That final scene with the cops surrounding Atwater to make it clear he was being watched and this wasn’t going to be dropped…chills. [What comes next? EP Rick Eid teased a bit of what’s in store for Atwater, Burzek, and Upstead.]
