Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

FILTHY RICH: I really wish I was connecting with this show more. There are some storylines I find compelling (mainly the “claimed” Monreaux children and their hypocrisy), but it feels like half of the characters are, tonally, on different shows. (It also felt like they shoved through a lot of storylines in episode 2 to get to plot they’re rather dive into? The reveal about the fake found son—who was actually the adopted brother of the real dude, who was in a coma—felt super sped up.) I wish it was either way more campy or a lot more serious.

LOVE ISLAND: At some point, Cely will realize everyone gently sharing the red flags with her about Johnny were seeing something she couldn’t see versus them thinking she can’t stand up for herself. For her loved ones and the new people in the villa, they literally saw what aired on TV. For Justine, her best friend on the show, she’s literally seeing both sides of things, and she was right: Johnny was so preoccupied with pouting about how mean people were to him that he only cared about his feelings, instead of caring about how his girlfriend was coping with their meet the family going awry.

I. Cannot. Believe. Carrington. Broke. The. Baby. (I know it was fake, but oh my God.) And Moira and Calvin sneaking out to sleep outside was SO cute.

Unfortunately for Lakeyn/Bennet, it made sense they were voted out. They barely were coupled up long enough to make a splash, and they were the easiest one to vote out.

MANHUNT: DEADLY GAMES: Ugh, the scene when Richard sat for the fake training video and slowly realized he was being duped broke my heart. The push-pull with him trying to protect himself while also so badly wanting to prove himself to the agents was absolutely gutting.
