Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

SUPERMARKET SWEEP: This is only my second episode of the show, ever, so I don’t know how frequent it is that people win the $100k, but I got emotional! It also felt like the clementine clue—which got the big prize—was the easiest one of the night, because produce isn’t tough to find in the store. But I was happy for the mother-daughter duo.

CARD SHARKS: I really am impressed with how much Joel McHale has settled into his role as host. But, oh my God, did anyone else full-body cringe when the contestant bet $160k because of her premonition? Yes, she had been absolutely on fire, but she went from having $200k in the bank to only taking home $40k. (I know, “only.” But even walking away with $100k is significantly more life-changing than $40k!)
