Exclusive Video: HOLEY MOLEY: 3D IN 2D Returns with ‘Bigger and Better’ Holes and ‘Lighting Stuff on Fire, No Reason’

HOLEY MOLEY, the delightfully unhinged mini-golf game show, is back and, somehow, crazier than ever.

After diving into the animated world in season 2 (which was, naturally, called HOLEY MOLEY II: THE SEQUEL), season 3—AKA HOLEY MOLEY: 3D IN 2D—takes things up a notch, with a gaggle of new holes (like the Corn Hole and Ziplining into the North Pole on Ho Ho Hole), and the iconic Dutch Courage getting upgraded to Dutch Courage En Fuego.

“I’m taking things to a hole new level,” executive producer/golf pro (and basketball superstar) Steph Curry said in the exclusive video below. “You see what I did there?”

“Everything went up a notch,” commentator Rob Riggle added. “They made it bigger and better. The holes are different, they’re new, they’re exciting…we’re just lighting stuff on fire, no reason.”

And with two seasons under their belt, commentator Joe Tessitore noted there’s a difference in the contestants: “You can tell they’ve been watching the show…it’s a playground for some of the greatest athletes in the world.”

But don’t worry: even with the changes, contestants will still be knocked off their feet…often literally. “I love the physical violence of it,” Tessitore said. “I love the wipeouts. This year it’s better than ever with that.”
