ABC Sets AMERICAN IDOL Return, JEOPARDY! NATIONAL COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIP Debut

AMERICAN IDOL will return for its fifth ABC season (and 20th year overall) on Sunday, February 27 (at 8/7c), the network announced.

Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie return as judges, alongside IDOL mainstay/host Ryan Seacrest.

Additionally, JEOPARDY! NATIONAL COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIP, hosted by Mayim Bialik, will debut Tuesday, February 8.

According to the network, the championship is a “multiconsecutive-night event that features 36 students from 36 colleges and universities from across the country, battling head-to-head for nine days of intense competition.”
