About Last Night…THE VOICE and BIG BROTHER REINDEER GAMES

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: While it wasn’t exactly the order in which I think the top 5 should have been placed in after the performance finale, Huntley is an incredibly deserving winner. And, critically, he was one of the two I thought picked the exact correct songs in the performance finale—songs that were big/showy and showed off his voice.

I also really hope this is just the start of Huntley’s career. As I was watching him in the performance finale, it hit me he could very easily go down a Daughtry path; I’d actually love to see that.

(And how impressive Niall is 2-for-2 with winning the seasons he’s been a part of. He won’t be a coach for season 25, so there will be a new winning coach next year…but will he come back for season 26 and try to make it 3-for-3?)

BIG BROTHER REINDEER GAMES: Vomit is not festive!!!!!!!! That nog-testing was gross, no thank you, please let us not repeat that if this special comes back next season. The memory game was interesting, though, because in the real game, the contestants have nothing but time when they’re not dealing with comps, so they have a lot of time to study. There isn’t the overnight element here,

Man, watching Britney try to zip line and knock down the bricks was tough, but she got so, so close to beating X at the end.

Also, after X has fought his way back four times—in many ways, the only fitting end to this season is him winning it all.
