I AM GROOT Shorts Coming to Disney+ This Summer

Baby Groot is coming to Disney+—I AM GROOT, a new minseries of shorts, will debut on the streamer this summer. All five segments will be available on Wednesday, August 10.

According to Disney+, “There’s no guarding the galaxy from this mischievous toddler! So get ready as Baby Groot takes center stage in his very owns series, exploring his glory days growing up—and getting into trouble—among the stars.”

Vin Diesel, who is the voice of Groot in the Marvel world—including the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY franchise in which the character debuted—will return to voice Baby Groot. Kirsten Lepore serves as writer/director, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and James Gunn serve as executive producers.

This is just the latest Marvel offering on Disney+, following shows WANDAVISION, THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, LOKI, WHAT IF?, HAWKEYE, MOON KNIGHT, and the soon-to-launch MS. MARVEL.
