BASED ON A TRUE STORY: Kaley Cuoco to Star in New Peacock Comedic Thriller

Kaley Cuoco has joined the new Peacock thriller BASED ON A TRUE STORY.

The series is “inspired by a bizarre true event…about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow close toilet seat.” Craig Rosenberg created the show and will serve as showrunner.

Cuoco will play “a married woman named Ava Bartlett.” The streamer is keeping all of the other details about her character a secret, for now.
