PRESS YOUR LUCK and GENERATION GAP

PRESS YOUR LUCK – “Redemption!?” – Three of our favorite former contestants return to Press Your Luck in an attempt to redeem themselves after falling to the WHAMMY on “Press Your Luck,” THURSDAY, AUG. 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/John Fleenor)
FALAWNA BARTON, ELIZABETH BANKS

Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

PRESS YOUR LUCK: I loved the show bringing back previous contestants who didn’t make it to the Big Board. Falawna’s run on her first game was nothing short of epic—and it’s also insane no one won any money that episode—and she outdid herself this game.

I was a bit worried after she got the car in the second round, passed her spins, got the spins back to her, Whammied, and then had to hope she could win with just a digital camera…but she did. And then to take home over $265k in the Big Board? Incredible. I’m so happy for her.

(Also, her mom freaking out was adorable and so sad…I was worried how she’d react if Falawna didn’t go home with the money. Thankfully, not something they had to worry about.)

GENERATION GAP: Tye’s reaction to a bed pan was maybe the funniest moment of the show so far. (I’m also shocked he didn’t know what it was, but his utter bafflement was TV gold.)

Okay, I was worried the tiny toddler was going to bike straight off the platform after he selected his prize. Was I alone in that?!
