CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD – “Mysterio vs. The Miz and Kurt Warner vs. Orel Hershiser” – Hosted by Steve Harvey, the first game features WWE wrestlers Rey Mysterio and The Miz when they face off outside the ring to see who will win the grand prize for their selected charities. In the next game, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner goes head-to-head against former MLB baseball player Orel Hershiser in an all-new episode airing SUNDAY, AUG. 28 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!
CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD: Okay, this will surprise absolutely no one who knows me or follows me on social media, but I was completely rooting for Dodgers legend Orel Hershiser. Sad he wasn’t able to pull out the win, but it was a good game.
(I’m also glad both Mysterio and Kurt Warner’s teams were able to take home the $25,000. They’ve realllllly been making it easy for them to get at least 95-ish points with the final question, barring a fundamentally dumb answer.)
$100,000 PYRAMID: Will owes Rachel Bloom so much for getting Vanna White when he said PRICE IS RIGHT when he meant WHEEL OF FORTUNE. (But as someone who loves TWILIGHT ZONE, even I didn’t think of that as a clue—I kept saying “time”…that’s a hard word to try to describe.)
The ABBOTT ELEMENTARY game was a little rougher than the first, because, uh, the contestants weren’t quite as on top of it.
