Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!
CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD: Rhys Darby got 198 in Fast Money?! And Michelle Young got 173 in her Fast Money round?! I’m both fascinated and impressed by that. On one hand, there was such clear domination that it made it so there was no real suspense about whether their respective teams would take it all home. On the other, in the games that are less, uh, compelling, part of me is surprised they don’t split things like this up to have more evenly balanced episodes.
$100,000 PYRAMID: I’ve been missing HOLEY MOLEY, so it was a delight to see Rob Riggle and Joe Tessitore face off in the first game. Rob using Joe as a clue to try and help his contestant get the word “dork”? Joe’s reaction to his contestant referencing a certain SNL skit? Absolutely hilarious.
I’ll admit, I was worried about Ali Larter in game 2, because she seemed a bit overwhelmed by it all. But, wow, she helped the contestant win $100k….and at the end of the game, he walked away $150k and a trip to the Bahamas.
