THE EQUALIZER is once again shedding light on an important topic: On the Sunday, April 23 episode, Aunt Vi (Lorraine Toussaint) realizes her masseuse is being abused by her husband. Naturally, Aunt Vi asks McCall (Queen Latifah) and the team for their help in “No Way Out.”

The CBS drama has addressed a number of timely issues during its first three seasons, including hate crimes, racial bias in policing and police brutality, as well as a recent episode exploring the rise in antisemitism.

Elsewhere in the hour, which was penned by Rob Hanning and Vanessa Herron, “McCall trains Dee on situational awareness and Dante goes against orders by chasing after the man who shot his friend Manny.” Richard Lyons serves as the episode’s director.
