About Last Night…GENERATION GAP and THE CHASE

Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

GENERATION GAP: Cheech Marin was a fun celebrity “guess who” person, because there were enough things the kids could guess…but then they got his name so very wrong. (Though it kind of broke my soul a little bit no one got it right when he revealed his partner was Chong; I figured the biggest tie-up would be knowing if he was Cheech or Chong.) But I may be #old.

But congrats to the kid for picking the trip to Italy! It felt like an “easier” choice than some of the other weeks, but I’m happy for the family they got that victory.

THE CHASE: Oh, those contestants were good. Sharath was one of the best all-around competitors this season, and Jose filled in a lot of the gaps…they were a well-rounded team. And not only did they do a really impressive final Chase round, but they also got a bunch of pushbacks. It wasn’t really close/they won really easily, but it was still a damn good game.

(Relatedly, I fell down an Agatha Christie rabbit hole after that question about her disappearance and holy [your choice of expletive here]. I now have a billion questions about her life.)
