Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

MASTERCHEF: Okay, we can’t have CRIME SCENE KITCHEN and MASTERCHEF making me crave desserts in the same week. Now I want cake. (But happy 250th, MASTERCHEF!)

Speaking of the competition: What are we doing with adding the entirely wrong ingredients to bakes? You can’t entirely change the flavor profile of the cake! Of course that’s going to put you at serious risk. (And, in this case, eliminated.)

BIG BROTHER: While Luke wasn’t a big part of the episode, a lot of it felt like a waste of time because we know he is (CORRECTLY) booted from the house. Is all of this manipulation and scheming going to blow up in people’s faces when no one is eliminated on Thursday? (Presumably.) Or will producers allow this to play out and skip a double elimination later?

GORDON RAMSAY’s FOOD STARS: Oh my God, we need to stop seeing fights between contestants in front of people. It doesn’t look professional and now it’s happened a couple of times.

It’s a shame Ashley stripped down her portion of the presentation, because it really could have been amazing. In some ways, it might have been a lose-lose position to be in. If she went big and it fell apart, she would have had to face the consequences. But playing it too safe…well, it led to the end of her time on the show. A bummer.
