BIG BROTHER, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, and MASTERCHEF

BIG BROTHER Wednesday September 13, (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and live streaming on Paramount+ and PlutoTV. Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

BIG BROTHER: Oh my God, Matt was absolutely precious thinking he would get real time with Josh Duhamel. (I wrote this on Twitter, but I hope he gets a real selfie post-show. Poor guy.)

As it is, Cam trusting Jared was a hilarious misstep. It makes sense, from his end, why he would do it. (Even though, uh, is Bowie Jane just…non-existent in this house? Cam seemed to quasi-be invested and trust in her.) But he didn’t realize that Jared isn’t just tied to Cirie, there is absolutely nothing he can do to sever that tie. Will this bite him in the end? Probably.

Felicia picking Cirie as her buddy and not realizing how it might impact her ability to plead to Jared for him to use the safety? Also kind of incredible.

But, man, Cirie and Izzy’s conversation made me emotional, especially seeing how moved they were. I really hope they are able to sustain this bond for as long as they’re on the show together.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Cool, the Tot Chair is deeply uncomfortable. Why are we killing this much time with stupid gags??

All things being said, arguably the right two acts moved forward, but I assume we’ll see at least one or two of the runner-ups be eligible for the wild card round next week.

MASTERCHEF: Both episodes somehow felt like they moved too quickly, for different reasons. The team challenge in episode 1 felt like there was too much going on, so it felt like it wasn’t quite as clear-cut about who would (or should) be going home because so many of them were messing up. With hour 2, we lost two contestants…it was just super speedy. Crazy to lose half of the contestants in the two hours, but we’re reaching the end of the season.

Right now it feels like it’s completely wide open for who could win…we’ll see.
