About Last Night…THE VOICE, MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, and BIG BROTHER REINDEER GAMES

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Again, how are they going to cut down this many contestants? They’re so good! I would struggle to eliminate one or two people at this point, but losing four is going to be absolutely brutal. Sigh.

MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: While this was very cute, I’m intrigued to see how they handle this in future holiday specials. This really felt like a whole mini-season condensed into four episodes/hours. If you’re going to do that approach, make it a real event! Do ten episodes or whatever. And if it’s going to be smaller, maybe do one-off challenges?

No matter what, I’m glad we got this show back for a bit. Now, I’m (im)patiently waiting for the series to return.

BIG BROTHER REINDEER GAMES: In a way, this felt much more like THE CHALLENGE, which is a very different social game than BB. Not a surprise everyone turned on Cam—and in some ways, I wonder if it was a relief for him given how much time he’s spent in the game this year—but also means things are going to get messy next episode. (Let’s see how long Cory vs. Taylor lasts before one is able to take the other out.)
