Who Survived Night 2 of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: FANTASY LEAGUE?

The second group of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: FANTASY LEAGUE contestants competed on the Monday, January 8 episode, with ten acts competing for six slots—five voted in by the in-studio audience, and one picked by judge Howie Mandel, who could choose to save someone on his own team or steal an act from a competing team.

Facing off in the episode were Team Simon’s Adrian Stoica & Hurricane (who won the last season of AGT); Wes-P. Team Heidi’s Piff the Magic Dragon; Ramadhani Brothers; and Grace Good. Team Mel B’s Mersey Girls; Vardanyan Brothers; and Sheldon Riley. Team Howie’s Drake Milligan; Preacher Lawson.

Howie made a play for Team Heidi’s Ramadhani Brothers, using his Golden Buzzer to steal the duo and bring them to the next round.

Then, it was time for the audience-voted acts to move through. The in-studio voted in Mel B’s Vardanyan Brothers and Sheldon Riley; Team Heidi’s Grace Good; Team Simon’s Adrian Stoica & Hurricane; Team Howie’s Preacher Lawson. (Notably, the judges asked Mandel why he didn’t save previous fan-fave Milligan after his performance got mixed reviews from the panel amid concern his non-original song didn’t have the same kind of connection as his previous numbers; Mandel looked worried and said he thought the audience would save him…the votes didn’t shake their way.)
