ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST: Bernadette Peters Sets Season 2 Return

Bernadette Peters is returning to ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST in season 2, a rep for the show confirms.

Peters first guest starred as Deb on the season 1 episode, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Mother,” as a widowed woman who befriended Maggie (Mary Steenburgen) at Zoey’s (Jane Levy) request. (She also performed “Feeling Good.”)

Though the show is keeping details about Peters’ return a secret, the star posted a photo on social media with Steenburgen, noting the duo worked together. “I love the show. I love the cast. I love Mary,” she wrote.
