THE VOICE, THE BIG LEAP, and ORDINARY JOE

THE BIG LEAP: L-R: Scott Foley and Simone Recasner in the “Classic Tragic Love Triangle” episode of THE BIG LEAP airing Monday, Sept. 27 (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT) on FOX. © 2021 FOX Media LLC. CR: Jean Whiteside/FOX.

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Holy Holly Forbes! (Though I still hate, hate, hate the cliffhanger endings. Come on, we’ll tune in.) And also loving The Joy Reunion…this is the season of unexpected great groups.

It’s also absolutely unreal that Hailey Mia is only 13?! Good lord, she’s talented as hell.

THE BIG LEAP: Can you make someone understudy all of the parts?! Gabby is so getting screwed. (I get the point is to make it dramatic for her/put her as the underdog; and for the real show we’re watching, it becomes the suspense of which of the dancers will figuratively fall so she needs to take their place. But girl needs a break.)

Also, Scott Foley is absolutely perfect in this role. Goodness, he made me laugh out loud multiple times in the hour.

ORDINARY JOE: I know this isn’t the show, but I would watch a whole hour of James Wolk singing every week. (NBC, I’m not kidding, I will buy original music and covers from this show, please and thank you.)

With us still learning so much about these worlds, I feel like I need a flow chart of who is what where and what stuff overlaps. But I’m still utterly charmed by the show.
