CBS has released a first look of the key art designs for the Network’s four new comedy series, including MOM, to begin appearing in print, online and outdoor later this summer. MOM stars Anna Faris as Christy, a newly sober single mom and waitress raising two children in a world full of temptations and pitfalls, and multiple Emmy Award winner Allison Janney stars as Bonnie, Christy’s critical, estranged mother. The key art features Janney striking a pose on top of Faris’ head/shoulders.

Which show’s key art was your favorite?

It appears we may have our first non-spinoff pilot order of the season: Deadline is reporting that CBS will pick up MOM, the latest sitcom from Chuck Lorre (THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN) tomorrow.

The series — starring Anna Faris and Allison Janney — follows a newly sober single mother who is attempting to pull her life together in Napa Valley. MOM was written by Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker, and co-stars Nate Corddry, French Stewart, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Matt Jones, Spencer Daniels, and Sadie Calvano.

CBS Orders 13 Episodes of Stephen King’s UNDER THE DOME

CBS has made another move to ensure that summer of 2013 is going to be filled with original scripted content: the network has ordered 13 episodes of UNDER THE DOME, a series based on the Stephen King book of the same title. (The series is also produced by Steven Speilberg.)

Per CBS, “UNDER THE DOME is the story of a small New England town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.  The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.”

“This is a great novel coming to the television screen with outstanding auspices and in-season production values to create a summer programming event,” said Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment in a statement.  “We’re excited to transport audiences UNDER THE DOME and into the extraordinary world that Stephen King has imagined.”
