ENLISTED, a charming, funny, heart-warming comedy, is ending its (way too short) run on Fox tonight, and, according to the cast and producers, it’s a big episode for the show.

Take a look at what ENLISTED stars Geoff Stults (Pete), Chris Lowell (Derrick), Parker Young (Randy), Angelique Cabral (Jill), and executive producers Kevin Biegel and Mike Royce teased about the finale…

Second Lieutenant Tyson Schneeberger tricks the platoon into being test dummies for his experimental automobile, “Mondo Spider,” causing its victims to run for the latrine. So Pete attempts to rescue them. Meanwhile, Sgt. Major Cody asks Derrick to take his self-portrait, but he turns out to be a very difficult subject.

ENLISTED is going on a bit of a hiatus after this week, but at least the show is (temporarily) leaving us on a perfectly fitting note: the platoon becomes the victim of a huge mechanical spider, whose weapon, well, makes people use the restroom.

I visited the set while they were filming this episode, and Geoff Stults (Pete), Chris Lowell (Derrick), Parker Young (Randy), and Angelique Cabral (Jill) teased a bit of what viewers can expect from “Paint Cart 5000 vs. The Mondo Spider”…

If you’ve followed the ENLISTED cast on social media, you’ve probably noticed they’re a pretty tight-knit group. In fact, they’re so close, that when Geoff Stults (Pete) was talking to reporters on the set of his Fox comedy, his co-star, Parker Young (Randy), decided to…um, crash the interview. (Almost literally.)

Take a look at what Stults had to say about the blossoming Pete and Jill relationship, and how Young decided to drop by during the chat…

There are a lot of shows debuting over the next few weeks — the good, the bad, the “what the heck did I just watch?!” — but Fox’s comedy, ENLISTED, is one of the bright spots.

I could tell you all the reasons why I love the show (which I have done and will continue to do over the next couple of days), but the fact is, the people associated with ENLISTED know it better than anyone else…so I asked the cast (Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Angelique Cabral, and Keith David) and the producers (Kevin Biegel and Mike Royce) to pitch why viewers should tune in to the series premiere this week.

Take a look at their responses…

After Fox picked up ENLISTED to series, the cast was given a very important task: to complete a boot camp that actual soldiers have to go through.

I spoke to ENLISTED stars Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, and Parker Young in early September (a few weeks after they went to boot camp) about the experience, what they learned from it all, and more…

ENLISTED — the new Fox comedy about a group of misfits on an Army base — is not only one of the most heartfelt/ genuine (and good) shows of the upcoming midseason, but the actors are committed to getting their parts down.

Over the summer, the cast (Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Angelique Cabral, and Keith David) went to a real boot camp in Texas and underwent basic training…and Fox filmed it all.

The webseries — and what they went through — is actually pretty amazing, so check it out…

The Cast of SUBURGATORY Previews Valentine’s Day in Chatswin

On tonight’s brand new episode of SUBURGATORY, Dallas and George’s first Valentine’s Day together goes awry when her attempt to freshen up for the big day goes off the rails.

“She’s…a little insecure because George is a little younger, so she gets some facial work that goes bad,” Jeremy Sisto (George) told reporters earlier this week. “So she disappears and ditches me on Valentine’s Day. So I get drunk at the restaurant.”

And while the botched procedure renders Cheryl Hines (Dallas) virtually unrecognizable, the show chose to have her wear prostheses, versus changing her face in post-production.
