MAN SEEKING WOMAN is exploring a different element of the dating experience in tonight’s brand new episode: after Liz and Leo split, she’s forced to navigate the modern dating scene…and deals with similar situations to what her brother, Josh, went through when the series started.

“Most of the credit goes to our writer, Sofia Alvarez, who really…had to create a brand new show,” Simon Rich shared about “Teacup.” “She really knocked it out of the park. I’m thrilled at the work she did. And Britt [Lower (Liz)], also, completely nailed it, and did a great job at taking over for Jay [Baruchel (Josh)] as the star this week.”

FXX is launching MAN SEEKING WOMAN, a new (insane/hilarious) comedy, tonight at 10:30 PM, and it’s unlike anything on television. Sure, the series — which is based off of Simon Rich’s book “The Last Girlfriend on Earth: And Other Love Stories” — tells the story of a man re-entering the dating world, but how many other shows would have the man going on a date with a literal troll?
