TV Blogger Korbi Ghosh joins GiveMeMyRemote.com as managing editor

LOS ANGELES, CA and BOSTON, MA / June 15, 2010

Hollywood-based TV Blogger Korbi Ghosh will bring readers behind-the-scenes of the small screen via Give Me My Remote while directing the editorial content of the site at large.

Give Me My Remote (https://www.givememyremote.com/remote/remote) announced today that Korbi Ghosh, an established entertainment journalist who has been covering television in depth for nearly a decade, has been named Managing Editor of the popular television blog.

Ghosh will bring Give Me My Remote readers the behind-the-scenes scoop, breaking TV news and commentary as it happens. Ghosh understands that for loyal TV fans, simply reporting the news just isn’t enough. Fans want to consume all that their favorite shows have to offer.  That’s where she comes in.  Whether it’s getting the latest scoop on the red carpet, live from the after parties or straight from the set of TV’s most popular series, Korbi shares the news in a way that makes TV fans feel like they are experiencing everything first hand.

Covering the day-to-day of television is nothing new for Ghosh. Most recently she authored the popular blog “Korbi TV” at Zap2it.com. Before that, she penned “Korbi’s Quickies” a TV column for E! Online.  Ghosh is no stranger to being in front of the camera either. In addition to being a frequent guest commenter for the TV Guide Network, Korbi has guested on “Scrubs” and ABC Family’s hit show “Greek” and also hosted the popular “So You Think You Can Dance Buzz Sessions” for Yahoo! TV.

“As a longtime reader and admirer of Give Me My Remote, I’m beyond excited about the opportunity to jump on board and help take this already fantastic site to the next level,” says Ghosh. “GMMR has always been a place where those of us who love TV can go to get the latest news about our favorite shows and find a community of other TV geeks to talk with. I really look forward to being a part of the team that’s only going to enhance that online experience.”

Also joining the editorial staff of Give Me My Remote is Marisa Roffman. A true TV fan who counts “Fringe”, “Dexter” and “Bones” amongst her favorite series, Roffman is already an accomplished TV blogger in her own right having worked alongside Ghosh at both Zap2it and E! Online.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Korbi and Marisa joining the Give Me My Remote team,” said site founder and editor, Kath Skerry. “Give Me My Remote was created to serve as an online community where TV fans can unapologetically indulge in their favorite shows. Without a doubt, GMMR readers are going to love having this new level of coverage on the site. It’s an exciting time for GMMR and I’m so glad our readers will benefit from Korbi and Marisa’s industry experience and their love of all things TV.”
