Just wondering if anyone watched LOST last night with their jaw on the floor, or was it just me? Season 4 continues on in an incredible fashion with an episode that gave us a insight in to what might be the core mystery of the island - time travel.I’m kind of staring blankly at this computer screen feeling a bit overwhelmed by the pressure to post about last night’s show - one that I thought was so brilliant that it’s definitely up there with some of the best episodes this show has ever had. I’m not sure I truly understood what actually happened, and last night’s ep certainly warrants a rewatch (or 5).
Through the experience of Desmond Hume we’ve learned that the island doesn’t exactly have a healthy relationship with space and time. As hinted at by Daniel’s digital clock experiment a few weeks ago, the island seems to be on a slightly different time table than the outside world, but just how distant the island world and outside world are has yet to be seen. Is it minutes? Days? Months? Years? And just what is it about the electromagnetic properties of the island that forces those in the wrong path to experience this jump between time?
LOST viewers are trained in the art of flashes, and so I found it quite clever that what first appeared to be flash forwards of Desmond at boot camp were actually neither flash forward or flash backs…well at least not in the truest sense of the word. Desmond’s conscious, but not his physical being were being transported between 1996 and what we think to be the ‘present’ - 2004.
The freak show that is BIG BROTHER continues and tonight was the food competition as well as HOH nominations. Find out who is on the block by visiting GMMR’s BIG BROTHER Spoilers - Feed Alert
Food competition was held earlier today. There is no indication as to what the competition was but they are all currently eating food. Allison went up to HOH earlier today to try and get Josh and Sharon to nominate Sheila and Adam and Matt and Natalie. She blamed the keeping of Matt and Natalie last week on Ryan (because she had a deal with both sides of the house). She was also blaming Natalie for planting seeds and saying things. She apologized to Joshuah and the hugged, but as soon as she leaves, Sharon and Chelsia say they don’t trust her. When Joshuah returned from the diary room, he said he didn’t trust her either. When it came to nominations, Matt and Natalie were on the block against Ryan and Allison.

The Hollywood Reporter says that negotiations are underway to move NBC staple SCRUBS to ABC next season. The long suffering much much applauded comedy was supposed to end air its series finale this year but that may not be the case now. Details are still being worked out but sources say that ABC is looking to pick up at least 18 episodes of the show. Zach Braff and other current cast members are said to all be on board for the move and another 18 new episodes.I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all you SCRUBS fans out there. Maybe ABC will give the show the promotion, and maybe even the ratings it deserves.
Good news or were you ready to finally say goodbye to SCRUBS?

The top 20 performed over the past two nights and now we must say goodbye to four contestants. Two guys and two girls will be sent home tonight on AMERICAN IDOL.
According to the poll posted earlier today, GMMR readers think that Amanda Overmyer, Kady Malloy, Jason Yeager and Luke Menard will be the ones to go tonight. But is that how America voted?
Ryan made the announcements and for the guys the bottom four were Danny Noriega, Jason Yeager, Robbie Carrico and Luke Menard. And for the girls it was Alexandrea Lushington, Amanda Overmyer, Alaina Whitaker and Kady Malloy.
Find out who went home….after the break (and by break I mean jump)
JBig Brother told Josh that he has to stay 5 feet from Allison. She is currently hiding out in the bathroom. Josh and Sharon just got called to DR to get the keys for their HOH room.
Tonight two girls and two guys will be going home on AMERICAN IDOL. You’ve seen them all perform, and now it’s your chance to tell us who you think is going home. Who do you think America is going to send home tonight?
Vote for the one guy and one girl who you think will go home tonight. Leave a comment and defend your vote. The top two vote getters in each category may be on the chopping block.

Not sure exactly what’s happening on tonight’s Survivor but I’m going to go out on the limb and say that there will be bitching, moaning, bad weather, deceit, a challenge for immunity and someone will be going home. Was that a spoiler? Oops sorry.

Now the all important question. What will YOU be watching?

I’m going to go ahead and warn you that I was tired and kind of cranky watching the Top 10 girls perform on AMERICAN IDOL tonight. I was kind of hoping there would be a performance that would break me out of my mood, but for me there wasn’t. Forgive me if I’m a little bit bland and a tad overcritical tonight. Feel free to correct me if you thought I was way off about some of these performances. The judges and I weren’t always on the same page tonight, but I guess that’s not a new thing.
Carly Smithson is leading off for the ladies tonight. Coming into the Top 24 she was the woman to beat, or at least that’s what the producers wanted us to think. Her underwhelming performance last week was probably just a fluke. Tonight’s performance was much stronger. I wasn’t a fan of the song but maybe because I didn’t know it. I thought she was a bit screechy but overall I think she was good. Sorry, I wish I could muster a little more excitement about this chick, but I’m not quite there yet. Randy thought she was alright. He didn’t bow to her like he did last week though. Paula spoke nonsense. Simon doesn’t think that any of the girls can touch her vocally but said she hasn’t found the right song yet. He contends she’s the woman to beat. 1-866-IDOLS-01
Next up is my favorite girl of last week, Syesha Mercado. Her rendition of “Me & Mr. Jones” was sultry and sexy. For a slow song there were some great notes that she hit to showcase her range. And come on this girl is gorgeous. I’m not sure that the judges are going to love her tonight as much as I did. I’m worried that after following the rock song from Carly that this performance is going to be a little underwhelming. Let’s see. Randy thought it wasn’t the right song and suggested she pick a song better suited to her belting voice. Simon agreed. 1-866-IDOLS-02
