Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Monday, November 22, 2010

We are creeping in on the holiday TV season. From about this week through January, our TV schedules are a bit all over the place. Holiday specials, reruns…it’s all out of sorts. So be sure to cherish tonight’s original programming while you can.

Here are a few highlights from tonight’s TV lineup. We haven’t checked in on a Monday in quite some time, so tell me, what are YOU watching tonight?

Chuck | 8pm on NBC
“Chuck Versus Phase Three”
Sarah, Chuck, Morgan and Casey head to the jungles of Southeast Asia when The Belgian (Richard Chamberlain) tries to learn more about the Intersect; Ellie and Awesome try to decipher a secret her father left behind.

How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“Blitzgiving”
Ted spends Thanksgiving with Zoey after his plans to make dinner for his friends are foiled when they spend the night with a college friend, “The Blitz,” who brings bad luck wherever he goes. [GMMR: Thanksgiving is always special on HIMYM. Do I see a return of the Slapsgiving? How many slaps are left?]

Dancing with the Stars | 8pm on ABC
“Finale Performances”
The 10th and final week of performances for the 11th season. The remaining three couples perform two dances each: a freestyle and a redemption dance

House | 8pm on Fox
“Small Sacrifices”
A man becomes a patient after re-enacting the Crucifixion; Taub questions his wife about her relationship with a member of an infidelity support group; Wilson’s relationship with Sam takes an unexpected turn at a co-worker’s wedding.

Lie to Me | 9pm on Fox
“Veronia”
Lightman tries to help a woman (Annette O’Toole) piece together her fragmented memories — due to early-onset Alzheimer’s — but it unearths a deadly secret.

The Event | 9pm on NBC
“Your World to Break”
Sophia sets a trap after discovering dissension among her people; Leila and Sean investigate Samantha’s kidnapping and try to evade Dempsey (Hal Holbrook).

Skating with the Stars | 9:15pm on ABC
“Series Premiere”
The series opener of an ice-skating competition that pairs celebrities with professional skaters. Contestants include Vince Neil, Bethenny Frankel and Sean Young.

Hawaii Five-0 | 10pm on CBS
“Hao Kanaka”
A ring of thieves pulls off the heist of an armored car, killing two security guards and leaving the money behind; Danny must seek his ex-wife’s help in the case.

Chase | 10pm on NBC
“Crazy Love”
A deadly fugitive with a haunted past goes on the lam with his teenage girlfriend, whom he has manipulated with promises of romance and adventure and freedom from her domineering father.

  • Rules of Engagement | 8:30pm on CBS: After telling his co-workers he no longer wants to participate in their fundraisers, Jeff needs to ask them for donations for Audrey’s charity run; a recent date gives Russell a taste of his own medicine.
  • Two and a Half Men | 9pm on CBS: Charlie goes on a spending spree for old fling Courtney when she shows up after being in prison for three years.
  • In Treatment| 9pm on HBO: Sunil vividly accounts a recent violent dream. Frances panics; Paul is accused of being overly sympathetic to Frances’ sister.
  • Mike & Molly | 9:30pm on CBS: After Mike’s mother buys a hat for her, Molly feels obliged to invite the older woman over for Thanksgiving.
  • Chelsea’s Big Interview Special 2 | 10pm on E!: Chelsea Handler interviews Gwenyth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway and Christina Aguilera.

    There’s only one slap left. I’m guessing they’re saving it for the series finale, so I don’t think there will be a slap tonight.

    No, no, no, Kath. It’ll be legen… wait for it, especially if you are lactose intolerant.. DARY! I’m also tad annoyed with Skating With The Stars. I want my Castle.
