Grey’s Anatomy Special Hosted by Denny

April 2, 2007 by

denny.jpgThe hardest working” dead guy” in showbiz, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, will be back at Seattle Grace Hospital soon enough, and no, Meredith won’t be having another near death experience. JDM, who played Izzie’s dearly departed fiance Denny, will be hosting a one-hour special, “Grey’s Anatomy: Every Moment Counts” on April 12th. The special takes a look back at some of the show’s most memorable moments over the past three seasons.

And get ready for a new song to be stuck in your head because the special will feature one of Grey’s signature music videos. Oddly enough The Fray won’t have anything to do with this one. Singer/songwriter Bradi Carlile’s tune “The Story” was given the honor as the background score for the new video. Given the success of past Grey’s videos, Carlile can be sure to get mad airplay from this honor.

Is it me or has Grey’s already had a few clips shows in its three seasons? Seems a bit odd to me. But heym if it means spending some quality time with Dead Denny then I’m all for it. I’d be even better if he can bring his BFF from beyond, Dylan (Kyle Chandler) with him.

So mark your calendars for “Grey’s Anatomy: Every Moment Counts” on April 12th at 9/8c on ABC

i love brandi carlisle! her last album was great and the new single is too- she’s very much in the vein of other GA pushed artists, so i think it is a great fit for that show to play her music.

I love Brandi also! And I’m seeing her in a really small, intimate venue two nights before this will air (very excited!). Wonder if she’ll mention the Grey’s thing coming up? She seems like such a laidback indie kind of artist so it’ll be interesting to see how “mainstream” this takes her.
