David Archuleta Singing “Think of Me” (Video)

I honestly feel for David Archuleta every time he takes the stage. The boy looks like he’s going to throw up or pass out. I’d think that after all this time he’d be a little more ready for performance night, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. The boy looks like he needs a hug.
Little David Archuleta takes on a might big song with “Think of Me” from Phantom of the Opera. Not in a million years would I think that David would pick this song. It’s tough. And it’s extremely popular. But David did exactly what Simon hoped the contestants would do – he made it his own and he made it contemporary. I personally was really, really impressed.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this song, it’s a powerful ballad sung by a soprano. But the melodic arrangement that Team Archuleta put together was bluesy and soulful. I could easily hear this on the radio tomorrow. I thought David’s voice sounded fantastic tonight and much more mature than in past week’s. I was a big fan of this performance and personally thought it was his best since “Imagine”.
Paula and Randy seemed down with it while Simon thought it was “forgettable”. A big old DIS and AGREE to Mr. Cowell tonight.

Little David bored me like he always does. He can sing the ballads just fine, but Rocker David REALLY blew me away tonight. Of course, I’m already a huge fan of his. I got his album Analog Heart before it was pulled from Amazon

David Archuleta was FANTASTIC tonight. What a great performance to a very tough song to pull off with his vocals. David C. Sorry! He put me to sleep. He looked as if just rolled out of bed and tried something for this show. I don’t think this was his best. Same of Jason. Poor Jason, looked great, loved the outfit, but he was having a real tough time tonight. I think he is the next to be voted off. He will do OK though.
DIVA David Archuleta was great! BRAVO as Mr. Webber said. I loved his version. Awesome job young man. And I wish they will let older women on the stage to give you those hugs. Loved it!
I thought the kid did terrific. I loved the arrangement, it was something I wasn’t expecting from him. Everyone did great…except for poor Brooke. It’s time for her to go home, it seems like she’ll have an emotional breakdown at any moment.
Yes, David can sing but he bores me to death.
The other David is much much better. He sings ballads everyweek.

I thought that David Archuleta was absolutely amazing I loved what was done with the arrangement of Think Of Me. Simon was completely wrong = D
Archuleta has a great voice, but he flubbed the lines somewhere in the middle. Not very impressive.
I agree Hannah. David totally messed up the lines and did any of the judges bring that up? Nope. Paula and Randy can see no wrong in their Archuleta boy. None of the other contestants would have got off scott free on that. And that song is too popular for most people in America not to have noticed his mistake.
David was pretty good last night,
he is my favorite, but i think that David Cook and Syesha did the best.

Hey get over it. Most of us young and older fans LOVE DAVID ARCHULETA. If you don’t like his style, go buy your loud and explicit music. Who really cares? You saw what happened to Carly tonight. She did great and needless to say, she did forget her words and so did Brooke and Jason was in another planet alltogether. I think he is smoking crack before each show anyway.
For some of you who are not old enough to appreciate singers that had bestselling careers with Ballads, time to expand your knowledge of music. Different strokes for different folks. Time for a change. Go buy your loud music by David Cook and Carly, who cares?
