I thought that David did a wonderful job, I LOVED the song and I think that it would be a great song for his first single! I think that it really brought out the pop-rock side of him for the night! The song in itself is absolutely beautiful and very inspirational. Kudos to the songwriter! Archuleta was good, but I’m so sick of his ballads, nobody in their right mind would go to his concerts because they would fall asleep! He is a cutie and can sing his heart out, I’ll give him that, but we need a performer and a recording artist! You look back at everyone else who has made it big… Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Josh Gracin… etc. they are all performers and not just recording artists! So who will make it big after Idol? In my eyes, that would be David Cook because he is everything we need, wrapped into one… he’s the recording artist, performer, down-to-earth person, and THE American Idol. If he doesn’t win, then we’re just going to have another Season 2 upset with Ruben winning over Clay… Everything Archuleta sings reminds me of being at church, even when he tried to pull of “With You” by Chris Brown… Hip-Hop turned Gospel… Those are just my thoughts! So nobody get mad!

I think archuleta has won this competition though. HE has the better voice and is absolutely amazing! David cook is fun to watch and has better stage presence but either way they will both succeed and make records! I look forward to that.
