Win LEATHERHEADS on DVD

September 24, 2008 by

Listen up people!  We are so close to THE OFFICE season premiere that I now start counting down by hours.  I’m full with nervous excitement.  Thursday can not come fast enough.  The stars are starting to show up on the talk show circuits, new spoiler clips have been released. Oh the joy!

In celebration of THE OFFICE season premiere tomorrow, GMMR is giving away 3 copies of LEATHERHEADS starring The Office’s John Krasinski. LEATHERHEADS was released on DVD and Blu-Ray yesterday but GMMR has your hook up.

Settle in as the eye candy of John Krasinski and George Clooney team up together on the big screen to play a little old time football and fight (literally) for the affections of Ms. Renee Zellweger.

Krasinski and Clooney would be enough ‘bonus features’ for me, but the DVD offers a few extras including:

  • DELETED SCENES
  • FOOTBALL’S BEGINNING: THE MAKING OF LEATHERHEADS: An inside look at the making of the film featuring interviews with George Clooney, Renée Zellweger and John Krasinski.
  • NO PADS, NO FEAR: CREATING THE ROWDY FOOTBALL SCENES: This bonus feature focuses on the preparation and execution of the film’s intense football moments, featuring footage from the actors’ training camp.
  • GEORGE CLOONEY: A LEATHERHEADED PRANKSTER: This bonus feature shows one of the set’s most elaborate and hilarious pranks orchestrated by director George Clooney.
  • VISUAL EFFECTS SEQUENCES: A side-by-side comparison of scenes with and without their visual effects.
  • FEATURE COMMENTARY WITH DIRECTOR GEORGE CLOONEY AND PRODUCER GRANT HESLOV*

GMMR followed LEATHERHEADS from early casting through production and release so it’s only fitting that we are now giving away the movie on DVD.

To Enter:
George Clooney & John Krasinski were a great comedy team on screen. To enter share with us another actor with whom you’d like to see John Krasinski paired with on the big screen and why?

Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries.  The contest ends at 10pm est on Sunday, September 28th.  Good luck!

Zach Levi for no other reason that I would not know which one to stare at and that would be a lot of fun 🙂

  2. Alyssa on September 24th, 2008 8:43 am

I think Zach Braff, because I think their humor could play off each other well.

  3. Alison on September 24th, 2008 9:28 am

Brad Pitt! He’s already tackled a movie with George, now isn’t it time for one with his best friend? 🙂

  4. Hilary on September 24th, 2008 9:33 am

Lauren Graham would be good. They could definitely play off of each other and banter really well.

  5. Mary on September 24th, 2008 9:46 am

Michelle Monaghan, because they’re both adorable in a guy/girl next door sort of way.

  6. Julianna on September 24th, 2008 9:52 am

Zooey Deschanel because she does quirky & adorable so well and John is so terrific that it would be amazing

  7. Madison on September 24th, 2008 10:04 am

Definitely Will Arnett, they’re friends in real life and if you’ve ever seen them together you know they have an hilarious banter. Plus they both have beyond sexy voices that would melt any girls hearts.

I have been longing for a John and Will Arnett movie for the past couple of days. Did you see those pictures of them hanging out after the emmys? Sooo cute! I would prefer this movie to be the continuing story of Arrested Development…

  9. 2mchtv.noschthng on September 24th, 2008 10:58 am

Anyone! He could pull it off…tho if I had to pick I’d say James Roday!

  10. Greg on September 24th, 2008 11:24 am

Pairing him up with Jason Bateman would be amazing…I’m sure someone would pee their pants watching them two

  11. Sarcasmo on September 24th, 2008 11:39 am

John K. and Will Smith as long as it’s not in a formulaic buddy-cop movie. I like them both and they’re both excellent actors so it would be fun to see them working together.

  12. Sara on September 24th, 2008 12:04 pm

Steve Carell. Because they’d be in The Office: The Movie.

  13. Mel on September 24th, 2008 12:17 pm

Definitely Will Arnett, they seem like they would be hilarious together.

  14. Zoe on September 24th, 2008 12:20 pm

Robert Downey Jr. because then, John would be Watson in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. I know that Jude Law is already cast… but seriously, I think John would be better! I could totally see him as a smart sidekick. Now the question is whether he can pull off a British accent… I bet he can.

  15. Marci on September 24th, 2008 1:03 pm

I’d like to see John in a dramatic role with Matt Damon. We’ve seen him in mostly romantic or comedic roles, and I’d like him to tackle something serious, like what he did in Without a Trace.

  16. stefanie on September 24th, 2008 1:08 pm

I think any really funny woman- Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kristin Wiig…I’d love to see his humor bounce off someone else- Mandy Moore was okay in License to Wed but she didn’t have the same humor or sparkle as, say, Jenna Fischer who has a great sense of comedic timing, so I’d love to see that on the big screen.

  17. Molly on September 24th, 2008 1:12 pm

I think he’d be great w/ Amy Adams – they’re both so funny and adorable, I’d watch them in anything!

  18. Alyson on September 24th, 2008 2:12 pm

I’d love to see him as best friends with Jim Parsons from the Big Bang Theory.

  19. sorano916 on September 24th, 2008 2:32 pm

To be honest, I would love to see him work with Evangeline Lily. I saw the two joint interviews that they had together at the Emmys and they did well together. I could see them do a humorous spy flix a la “Get Smart” as well as a dramatic period piece. They both have a look for that, plus Office and Lost fans would love it. 🙂

  20. megan on September 24th, 2008 2:52 pm

j-kras and zach levi! all that tall quirky adorable lankiness on one screen would be priceless 🙂

  21. Natasha on September 24th, 2008 2:59 pm

Jason Segel. I could see them playing brothers who constantly bicker.

  22. Jodi on September 24th, 2008 3:18 pm

I would love to see a John Krasinski/Lee Pace movie. They both have an adorable calm humor, are terrific with dramatic moments and constantly flash their easygoing smiles. I can imagine them as best friends, vying for the same love interest (preferably ME, but any cute actress would do).

  23. Jordan on September 24th, 2008 3:23 pm

I’d like to see him on the big screen with Jenna Fischer…in an Office mocumentary movie I adore the show, and a movie would just be more to love.

  24. Teach on September 24th, 2008 3:35 pm

Oooh, tough decision. I will not pick any ladies, instead casting myself as the female lead – with hopefully an above PG-13 rating 😉 I would love to see JK star in something with Ricky Gervais involved – either with Ricky as a co-star, writer, director, or all three. Or I’d love to see John with a more prominent role in the next Christopher Guest ensemble comedy. His small part in For Your Consideration was great, but I think it would be cool to see him in something that is primarily improv-based.

  25. Beth on September 24th, 2008 5:12 pm

This is a decision I have often considered, sadly. Do I want to pair John with another wonderfully attractive, boy next door type thats super witty yet smart but semi-awkward (in the best possible way)? Or do I want to see him with a leading lady that can show off said characteristics above?

I think I want to see him on screen with Ryan Gosling and Joshua Jackson (can i pick 2?). I think those 2 guys are both incredible actors yet have their own personalities about them (full of wit and charm) and I think would compliment John nicely. Not to mention Mr. Gosling always picks stellar movie roles and that would mean John’s in a great movie…there you have it.

  26. Courtney on September 24th, 2008 6:46 pm

Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’d be curious to see him and Tom Cavanaugh in a film together. Mainly because they could be goofy or serious and I think they could work together well. Though I’m not sure what kind of situation they’d be in.

Oh, and please let me be the random winner! One of my friends was an extra in the film!

  27. Nicole on September 24th, 2008 7:10 pm

Definitely Jason Sudeikis – I mean those guys already look alike (and Jason was Jim for goodness sake on SNL!) they already could be family and they’re both great comedic actors with wonderful careers ahead of them. So John & Jason all the way!

  28. Annemarie on September 24th, 2008 8:26 pm

I would love to see John Krasinski paired with Will Arnett…it would be great to see them in a smart movie comedy!

  29. Ben on September 24th, 2008 9:12 pm

I’d go with Ricky Gervais coming to America as David Brent takes over the Scranton branch after Wernham Hogg buys out Dunder Mifflin.

  30. Post-it Thief on September 25th, 2008 12:31 am

    Totally Will Arnett. Classic!

  31. bravethesebees on September 25th, 2008 4:08 am

Michael Cera. They both are hilarious, they were in Human Giant together, and I would just love to watch JKras be the slightly awkward older brother to Michael’s completely awkward little brother as the elder guides the younger on his journey of adolescence or adulthood.

  32. MD on September 27th, 2008 6:02 pm

Seth Rogan or James Franco would be great!
