Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Monday, June 15, 2009

June 15, 2009 by

Is someone having the case of the Mondays? Ok, I’ll admit it. I am.  I’m a little distracted this morning. But hopefully by the time TV starts tonight all will be well with the world and I can sit back and relax and watch a few of the shows listed here.

Greek | 8pm on ABC Family | Season Finale
“At World’s End”
Casey questions her relationships with Max and Cappie; Frannie lodges a complaint against Ashleigh; Dale and Calvin each make a “purity pledge” to fight off sexual temptations. [GMMR: Tonight’s season finale is a doozy. You DO NOT want to miss out. It’s so good. GREEK will be going on a mini-hiatus. The new season starts on August 31st….whew. I can’t be without Cappie for that long.]

“Bikes & Trikes”
The guys from Orange County Chopper come to the family’s house to hang out and plan the design for Jon’s custom chopper.

Raising the Bar | 10pm on TNT
“Rules of Engagement”
Jerry and Michelle go before a new judge; Michelle becomes smitten with a cop who may be perjuring himself.

My Life on the D List | 10pm on Bravo
“I Heart Lily Tomlin”
After Kathy’s comedy album earns a Grammy nomination, Team Griffin works the phones to drum up support among the voting membership; Kathy travels to Canada to meet comic Lily Tomlin.

Weeds | 10pm on Showtime
“Machetes up Top”
Nancy gets an ominous message from Guillermo; Celia finds she has value; Andy takes Shane to live with Nancy’s sister; Silas and Doug discover how difficult their task will be.

Nurse Jackie | 10:30pm on Showtime
“Sweet ‘n All”
Jackie and her husband are concerned about their daughter; the hospital administrator drinks Jackie’s spiked coffee.

Greek is the only thing I care about tonight! The rest on my night will probably be watching reruns of Less Than Perfect and random movies I recorded over the weekend. But Greek is #1 that I don’t even care if I have to watch commercials, I’m so excited for tonight’s episode and dreading, like you, that we have two months without my fave ZBZs, KTs, Calvin and Dale. I’m OK with less Evan. I know one spoiler which makes me very happy.

Greek fo sho! and The Bachlorette. BTW: Love the ‘on the late night couch’ section.

Cannot wait to see Ed Helms back on The Daily Show as a guest!

I have finally caught up on Greek and am now waiting for tonight’s episode – just in time for a two month long break….gah! Oh well, at least they are back in August, and I’ve got all of the special features/commentaries on the Chapter Two dvd to watch still.

Thank you so much for cheerleading this show or I would have never watched. I had heard of it and thought it was going to be a badly acted show aimed at tweens, but I was so wrong. I heart Cappie (I know, I’m so original) and Dale is just hilarious squared. I love his dry delivery; although Rusty has some pretty good line-delivery as well I must say. Love Calvin (and Heath too), but the new roomie has some great potential storylines so I’m happy with that. I’m babbling, but I just wanted to say yay Greek and thanks for bringing it to my attention!!

Also, I have to agree – the Late Night section of the TV Spotlight is much appreciated!

I’ll watch anyways but last week’s Chopper ep was the one with the Gosselins. I can’t imagine it being all that different, other than the interviews of course.

OMG, the latest graft is a cycle for Jon? No offense but I wouldn’t enable these people in any way. There I go being preachy again, sorry.

Can’t wait for the Greek finale!! Please please please let it be the end of Casey and Max. Their relationship is painfully boring to watch — not as bad as the uncomfortableness that is Rusty and any girl he dates, but bad!! And please let there be much more Cappie tonight than there was in last week’s episode! I need many many Cappie minutes to help get me through until August.

Greek was SO. GOOD. I don’t want to wish away the summer, but is it August 31st yet?

HOLY CRAP!!! Greek was soooo good. I dont want to spoil anything but whoa…I really didn’t think that was going to happen and talk about a cliff hanger!!! I kind of have a feeling that Rusty did something huge like drop his major or something…pretty much picking jordan and the house over his future…Kath , I cant wait to hear your take on it!
