Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Tuesday, November 24, 2009

November 24, 2009 by

Good morning! Just a few days until Turkey Day, are you excited? I’m hungry just thinking about it.

Sorry for the lack of updates yesterday. I had a rough day, and right now pain trumps pretty much anything I want to do.  Here’s to today being a bit better. I have a smorgasbord of television to watch dating back from this weekend. On Thursday I’ll be sure to give extra thanks to the people that made the Slingbox. I don’t know what I would do without it.

Lots going on tonight.  We’ve got the last episode of V until the new year.  Most of America (sadly) will be watching the DANCING WITH THE STARS finale. I DWTS watched (by force) last night.  I could care less who wins, but I’m pulling for Kelly Osbourne. Mya and Donny have had dance training in the past so I don’t think they should win. And really, don’t you think we should stop encouraging Donny Osmond, or any Osmond at this point.

Oh good lord, I just wrote a whole paragraph about DWTS. I blame it on the pain meds.

Check out the late night listings below to see if any of your favorite stars will be chatting it up. I’m looking forward to seeing TRUE BLOOD star Ryan Kwanten on CHELSEY LATELY. Although, I think I’d rather have dumb as rocks Jason Stackhouse on the show. Ha!

On to tonight’s TV!

Suze Orman talks to the contestants about the connection between health and wealth; the contestants take a health quiz; former professional football player Rod Woodson helps start an NFL challenge.

Thanksgiving plans are put on hold while the NCIS team investigates the horrific death of a Marine.

NCIS: Los Angeles | 9pm on CBS

Whoa, what? You’re really watching DWTS? I saw that on Twitter yesterday, but thought it was a typo. I’d definitely blame it on the pain meds, if I were you!!! Although – I have seen all of the contestants on Ellen this season, and I agree, I’d be pulling for Kelly Osborne too. You know, if I watched the show, that is.

I’m watching “V”, and really enjoying it week to week. Very sad that we only get four episodes before the big, long break … but I’ll be glad to have it back come March 2010. The biggest hook for me was Morena Baccarin as the head V, and she has not disappointed at all. I’ll definitely be watching tonight, and preparing for the long-haul without for the next 4 months!

I know, I know. But I have a really good excuse for watching DWTS. See, I moved in with my parents during this whole back ordeal, and right now there are only two places I can be – the couch in the living room or my grandmother’s bedroom. So I have to watch what show they want to watch. I didn’t have a choice.

I watched the first episode of V and have the rest on the trusty DVR. I didn’t feel the urgency to watch this show since I know it is taking a looooong break. There are too many other things I am already behind on, so V got bumped down the priority list. I’m actually looking forward to December re-runs a bit so I can get caught up on a few things! Although when all I have is re-runs, I’ll probably still complain.

I tried the first episode of V and just couldn’t get into it. I kept thinking I would catch up with it online, but I think I just need to admit it isn’t going to happen. There are too many other shows I actually really like.

Will we be reading your thoughts on how House jumped the shark last night? Starting with last week’s show? House not kicking Chase’s ass (literally and metaphorically) after Chase punched him out?

And what about this supposed “lost love” of House and Cuddy? The writers are again creating a backstory that never existed. I never had the impression that either was in love with the other. Is there a plot line where Cuddy was in love with House and he rejected her? O.K., he got her that desk, but that was to make up for being such a jerk about Cuddy trying to get pregnant. I only remember a flirtation, a kiss…? And how they both pushed each other away at the first sign of real emotion.

House’s romance in the nuthouse was so much more sweet and real and natural than this ridicuous, unbelieveable Huddy story. Bring Cameron back – she and Chase can struggle through a real crisis in their marriage and it can survive. I don’t believe she would give up so easily.

Kill off Foreman and 13 in a bus crash. Taub is the only interesting Fellow right now. Add a brilliant funny doctor to the mix. Give House a new love interest. Please, please give Wilson something to do besides encouraging House to get with Cuddy. Wilson needs another wife, or another Amber. Hey, what about Cameron and Wilson? Somebody please resuscitate this show or it will die on the operating table.

I’m watching V and will continue with it when it comes back. I’ll be interested to see how they handle all of the characters as the show goes on, and if they continue adding regulars or maintain the limited focus on the ones we see already.

I love Sons of Anarchy — it’s worth watching for Katey Sagal’s performance alone, but the rest of the cast is pretty great, too.

Thank you a lot for giving everyone such a brilliant chance to read critical reviews from this site. It’s usually very beneficial and packed with fun for me and my office fellow workers to visit your web site more than three times every week to read through the newest tips you will have. And definitely, I am just always satisfied with the striking tips and hints served by you. Certain two areas on this page are basically the finest I’ve had.

I was just searching for this information for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this kind of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top sites are full of garbage.
