BIG BROTHER’s HOH Puts Two Housemates on the Block

July 26, 2010 by
Filed under Big Brother, Big Brother 12

When the Chenbot wrapped up last Thursday’s episode, all the BIG BROTHER 12 houseguests were still in the running for HOH. But one by one, they fell from their surfboards. The first five out – Kathy, Lane, Kristen Hayden and Britney – were this week’s “Haves”. Those toughing it out longer were the “Have Nots”. Well that doesn’t seem fair, does it?

As we told you late Thursday night, Matt was the last one standing. And for the second week in a row, someone who was on the block the week before became Head of Household.

Tonight we saw the snoozefest that was the HOH competition play out. We got to see my favorite HG, Ragan, show a little game play by trying to make a few deals. But Matt was victorious. Now it’s decision time. Who will go up on the block?

MY BOYS Season Premiere: The Gang’s Poker Game is One Guy Short

July 25, 2010 by

So, last we saw PJ and crew on MY BOYS, her big bro Andy (Jim Gaffigan) was off to China with his fam, leaving the kids’ regular poker game one man (or woman) short… and in tonight’s season premiere (Sunday, 10 p.m. on TBS), the gang will attempt to fill that vacant spot.

But, as  you’ll see in the clip below, it’s not an easy task.

Have faith, however, they will eventually find what they’re looking for.

Yes, you guessed it, it’s the return of Troutie!!

No, I’m kidding, Johnny Galecki’s a little busy with some sitcom called THE BIG BANG THEORY.

But, yes, Andy does make a surprise return at the end of the ep!

You knew it, right?!!

No, just messin’ with you, Gaffigan’s got a lot going on with his stand up career and really did leave the show.

However, things will work out for PJ and her posse, so tune in tonight at 10 p.m., to find out how.

Also, as a bonus, there’s a second fresh episode on tap at 10:30, so stay tuned in…

P.S. GIVE ME MY REMOTE will have exclusive one-on-ones with all of PJ’s boys as the season progresses, so keep coming back for more coverage. This 4th go-round is going to be interesting with more than a couple surprising turns…

The man, the myth, the legend – Pacey Witter – showed up today for the (hopefully) first annual Pacey-Con. Hosted by Josh Jackson himself, this is a Con for the ages. Will a CREEK con be next? Here’s to dreaming!

CHUCK: Producers Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak Talk Linda Hamilton as Mom, Morgan-In-Training and the New Buy More

July 24, 2010 by
Filed under Chuck, Chuck Spoilers, Comic Con, Comic Con 2010

As you may or may not have already heard, Linda Hamilton has been cast as Chuck and Ellie’s mommy on CHUCK. So when the show’s executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, hit the press room after their panel at Comic Con, the first questions fired at them were mom-related.

As GIVE ME MY REMOTE reported earlier today, Hamilton’s casting came about because she’d heard that fans of the show wanted her to play the part. Schwartz told us that when they met with her, she said, So I’m Chuck’s mom? And he and Fedak were like, If you wanna be, that would be cool.

Done and done.

But just because the producers have found an actress for the role doesn’t mean Chuck Bartowski will be easily reunited with the woman from whose womb he came.

He will have to go in search of her.

Said Fedak, “We kind of start off the season with the team split up in the sense that Chuck’s looking to find his mom, Sarah’s working with the CIA, Morgan’s [training]. Chuck has quit that spy life. But, of course, who’s the one person he can go to for help [finding his mom]? Morgan Grimes.

Josh Gomez, who plays Morgan, mentioned that he and Zach Levi (Chuck) will be doing a lot more scenes together this season, so maybe Chuck will try to help out with some spy tips as they go in search of Mama Bartowski… because Schwartz told us with a laugh that Morgan’s training is not going well.

Who else may be in need of Chuck’s shoulder-to-lean-on? His sis.

Said Fedak, “Ellie also has mom issues [that are] just as deep and just as interesting [as her brother’s]. You know, she can obsess over mom too. In some ways, we have a parallel quest with Ellie. Especially since she’s having a child, she’s trying to figure out who her parents are.”

Fedak explained that this idea really ties into the upcoming year as a whole: “I guess if you’re looking for a theme to the season, in some ways, it’s about who your parents were and how they affect things and how they affect who you are today. Ellie’s definitely thinking about that.”

Deep, no?

So, what else did they tease about CHUCK season 4?

Chuck and Sarah will not only be together, but happy too. At least for the foreseeable future.

The Buy More will be back. However, this year, it’s owned and operated by the Central Intelligence Agency. They’ve stocked the store with their excellent spies and are using it as a cover, because of the success of Operation Bartowski. When G4’s Olivia Munn guests, she will be one of those spies. Same goes for the Old Spice guy.

But will Jeff and Lester still be around? Fedak and Schwartz declined to say whether they’d be BUY MORE employees, but promised that both characters will certainly be a part of the show.

Something else they declined to answer?

Whether or not we’re going to like mommy!

“I can’t speak to that,” Fedak told me when I asked. “I don’t want to say that yet.”

What do you guys think?

Will Mom Bartowski — who was apparently a spy and a CIA agent, herself — be bad ass in a good way? In a love-to-hate-her way? Which would you rather see?

Comic Con ’10: FRINGE Live Chat

Comments Off on Comic Con ’10: FRINGE Live Chat

When FRINGE first came to Comic Con, right before its premiere a few years ago, it got a fairly tepid reception from the crowds at CC. Not many had seen the pilot and despite it being a J.J. Abrams production, the room was well…not as full as it could have been.

Oh how times have changed.

Today’s FRINGE panel doesn’t start until 3:15pm PST / 6:15 pm EST and I’ve heard that there are already FRINGE fans in line.

Fringe returns to Comic-Con as Lance Reddick and Blair Brown make their first appearance at the convention, joining fellow series stars Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, and Jasika Nicole plus executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman for a Q&A with fans and an exclusive video presentation.

GIVE ME MY REMOTE’s Marisa Roffman (a major FRINGE fan) will be providing LIVE updates from inside the FRINGE panel at Comic Con for those of us who can’t be there.

Join us at 3:15pm PST / 6:15 pm EST today. Be sure to send yourself an email reminder below. Please feel free to invite other FRINGE fans by RT’ing, using the ‘share this’ button below…or any other means you have of spreading the gospel of FRINGE.

CHUCK Cast Dances at Comic Con (Video)

July 24, 2010 by
Filed under Chuck, Comic Con, Comic Con 2010

The cast of CHUCK is known for making a memorable entrance at Comic Con. This year Jeffster got things started by busting a move to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”. The rest of the cast soon followed as the crowd went insane.

We weren’t able to capture the best video, but at least you can get a sense of the fun that was had by all in the room.
