CASTLE’s Nathan Fillion Wants to Host SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Ah, Facebook, what wonderful powers you have.
You successfully orchestrated Betty White’s turn as host of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and now another cult fave wants in on that action.
“Just heard there’s a Facebook page to get me on SNL. Worked for Betty White!!” CASTLE star Nathan Fillion tweeted earlier today.
Indeed, there are two different “Nathan Fillion to host SNL” pages currently on Facebook with a combined 12,000-plus fans. And since Fillion has been tweeting about both campaigns for the last few hours to his 609,000-plus Twitter followers, those numbers are sure to jump.
And Fillion’s so keen on the idea, he’s even tweeting sketch possibilities to help the writers out: “SNL sketch idea. Get into a fat suit, have “What if Firefly was still on?” episode.”
Love it.

Nathan has such a sense of humor, he would be perfect to host SNL and he is so popular right now. Between his show Castle & the FireFly Browncoats his fans love him, he has over 600,000 followers who think so. Nathan has the comedic humor of Chevy Chase and almost the popularity of Betty White. He is on fire now, SNL should think about taking advantage of that! #filliontohostsnl

Well, you know my feelings on the subject!! (Though not really thrilled about Nathan’s “fat suit” comment!) Nathan on SNL would be DRATW!!!
Even with crappy writing, Mal will come out on top. Let’s do this thing!
If he was on, they should totally do three TV show Parody’s. Star Trek (old School) not just that it’s corny & cult like, but that it just would have to be done, X-files, a Magnum P.I. style sketch. I would say make fun of his own show, but that would only be funny if Ms. Katic did a cameo. I’m not even going to mention Firefly cause thats already been mentioned to death.
A great idea is worth repeating:
