When Britta’s old flame “Blade” returns to town with the traveling carnival, she confesses to the group that she needs their help to stay away from him. While Annie, Troy and Abed scheme to keep her occupied and away from Blade, Jeff and Shirley head to the carnival to get a look at the mystery man. Meanwhile, Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) enlists the help of Dean Pelton to convince Troy to join the Air Conditioning Repair Annex.

It’s that time of the week when another finalist will be eliminated from the competition. Tune in to see who doesn’t make the cut after the nation’s vote is revealed live.

Also, a spirited Saudi Arabian girl tries to break free of the societal constraints imposed on her and a Montreal doctor attempts to meet a stranger on a train.

“Support System”
A devastated Cristina presses Owen to confess the intimate details of his affair; Mark takes his new authority very seriously when he steps in as chief for the day and butts heads with Richard over a patient’s liver transplant; and Callie deems Meredith ready for the boards, while the rest of the residents continue to stress about the exam. Meanwhile, Callie, Arizona and Bailey plan a much needed ladies night for Teddy.

An unexpected tip leads Detective Britten to an empty warehouse that was tied to a case he was investigating prior to the accident. His curiosity causes concern for Captain Harper. Meanwhile, Hannah prepares for the move to Oregon. Bird and Britten investigate a mysterious suicide, while Detective Vega and Britten work on a 3-year-old homicide. When Pope & Associates’ newest client, DC Madam Sharon Marquette, is under investigation, the team needs to do everything possible to keep her client list under wraps. Meanwhile, Quinn runs into some trouble with the President’s former intern, Amanda Tanner.
