For most actors, playing characters that are highly questionable can be a fun escape for reality. But when you’re playing a fictionalized version of yourself, it would be understandable if you wanted to present the best possible version of “yourself.” That is, unless you’re EPISODES’ Matt LeBlanc.

EPISODES co-creators David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik shared that they sometimes had to “reign in” LeBlanc, who wanted to take his character even further than they wanted, so when I spoke with LeBlanc, I wanted to get his take on finding that balance.

Take a look at his thoughts on that, what he views as the central relationship on the series, and more…

EPISODES: David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik Talk About the Show’s Return

Comments Off on EPISODES: David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik Talk About the Show’s Return

After way too many months off of our television screens, Showtime’s EPISODES is finally back with brand new, um, episodes!

The good news? If you enjoyed the first season of the series — which found a British couple moving to America in the attempt to remake their hit show for the US (starring Matt Le Blanc, naturally), only for things to go pathetically wrong — the second season is just as delightful. Production of the first season of PUCKS! is in full swing, which means Sean, Beverly, and Matt can’t escape each other, no matter how much anger and resentment is boiling under the surface (and often boiling over).

I talked with EPISODES co-creators David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik about the show finally returning, getting to play with more installments this year, and what they’re excited for fans to see…

Comments Off on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: Nigel Lythgoe and Cat Deeley Dish on What You Didn’t See During the Top 20 Show

While the top 20 reveal show of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE had its share of spectacular moments — can we talk about that amazing baseball number, please?! — when the group first finished performing the show-closing Mia Michaels group number, judge/executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said he’d like to see it again.

At first, it seemed like he was joking, but when it became apparent he wasn’t (and since the show wasn’t taping live that week), the contestants got up and performed the number again and that’s what ended up airing on television.

So why did Lythgoe request for the dancers to do it again? And what did host Cat Deeley think was going on? I asked them after the show’s taping…

Filed under #1 featured, TV News, Unforgettable

CBS has finalized its deal to have UNFORGETTABLE return for a 13-episode season next summer, Deadline reports.

The drama has had a bizarre couple of months with CBS canceling the series in May, Sony — the studio that produces the series — shopping it around to other networks shortly after its cancellation, before rumors heated up a little over a week ago that CBS was interested in the show for a summer run.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see more of Carrie, Al and the rest of the guys? Or were you OK with the series ending?

When you’re on a reality show and trying to convince 30 women to give you a chance, sometimes you have to pull out the big guns. Unfortunately for this TAKE ME OUT contestant, I’m not sure if his “special trick” should really be enough to convince this group to leave their lights on for him.

AWKWARD. Catch-Up: What You Need to Know to Watch Season 2!

High school. Some of us are blocking out the memories, and for others of us, it is/was the best days of our lives. TV doesn’t always get it right when it comes to portraying those teenage years , but MTV’s AWKWARD. hits a lot of the right notes. It’s funny and doesn’t stray into preachy or ridiculous territory (looking at you, GLEE!), but most of all, the show’s characters are fairly well rounded.

So what do you need to know?
