FRINGE Halts Production on Final Season

July 25, 2012 by

Production on the final year of FRINGE has hit a slight snag — sources confirm that filming has temporarily stopped on the show’s fifth season so series star John Noble (Walter) can get treatment for a sleep disorder. TMZ was first to report the story.

Filming on the Fox series is set to resume on August 7th, and sources say this setback won’t impact the show’s September 28th season premiere or its planned January 2013 series finale air date.

UPDATE: 7:11 PM: While a few other cast members have had a bit of bad luck, sources confirm that the production shut down is due solely to Noble getting treatment for his sleep disorder.

FRINGE airs Fridays at 9 PM on Fox.
