It takes a lot to truly rattle ONCE UPON A TIME’s Regina, but her mother, Cora, certainly ranks at the top of the list.

“She’s terrified of her mother coming to Storybrooke,” Lana Parrilla (Regina) told reporters on set. “This whole time, Regina [thought] her mother [was] no longer alive. What happens [now]?”

So what made my list? (And no, these are not based spoilers. Merely wishful thinking, though I’d be thrilled if any/all of them come true.) Take a look…

Comments Off on THE VOICE: Carson Daly on Saying Goodbye to Contestants and What Christina Might Do Now

THE VOICE is going to be different starting next week, because for the first time ever, Team Christina won’t have a contestant left in the competition. (Previous seasons had the same amount of contestants from each team moving on, so each coach was guaranteed a spot in the finals.)

After this week’s elimination show, I spoke with THE VOICE host Carson Daly about the contestants not always getting to say their on-stage goodbyes, plus what the elimination of Christina’s entire team might mean for the show dynamic…

CBS Orders 13 Episodes of Stephen King’s UNDER THE DOME

Filed under TV News, Under the Dome

CBS has made another move to ensure that summer of 2013 is going to be filled with original scripted content: the network has ordered 13 episodes of UNDER THE DOME, a series based on the Stephen King book of the same title. (The series is also produced by Steven Speilberg.)

Per CBS, “UNDER THE DOME is the story of a small New England town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.  The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.”

“This is a great novel coming to the television screen with outstanding auspices and in-season production values to create a summer programming event,” said Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment in a statement.  “We’re excited to transport audiences UNDER THE DOME and into the extraordinary world that Stephen King has imagined.”

Comments Off on SUBURGATORY Casts Sheila Shay’s Mom

Back before SUBURGATORY’s second season kicked off, series creator Emily Kapnek teased that she hoped to bring Sheila Shay’s mother into the mix this year. And voilà! She’s been cast: ABC confirms that Mary Kay Place has landed the role.

According to Zap2it (who was first to report the casting), Sheila’s mama doesn’t quite approve of her daughter — but she does love Sheila’s husband, Fred. Uh oh…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins Tease ‘Hunteri Heroici’

SUPERNATURAL has never been shy about doing episodes that are outside the norm (and the series has had a ton of fun playing with the meta aspect), but tonight’s hour takes things in an even weirder direction than ever.

But you don’t want to hear that from me, you’d rather it hear it from the stars of the show.

Give Me My Remote was on set while they were filming this episode and Jensen Ackles (Dean), Jared Padalecki (Sam), and Misha Collins (Castiel) spoke with reporters to tease a little bit about what fans could expect from “Hunteri Heroici”…

So, we decided to check in on NASHVILLE, ARROW, and LAST RESORT to see if our feelings had changed.
