GLEE’s Jayma Mays Joins THE MILLERS

Comments Off on GLEE’s Jayma Mays Joins THE MILLERS

GLEE’s season finale may have ended with Emma and Will finally becoming husband and wife, but it doesn’t seem like we’ll be seeing much of that marriage next season: a rep for CBS has confirmed that Jayma Mays (Emma on GLEE) has joined the new CBS series, THE MILLERS, as Will Arnett’s sister.

Mays’ new role, Debbie, was originally played by Mary Elizabeth Ellis in the pilot, but Ellis, along with her on-screen THE MILLERS husband (played by Michael Rappaport) were dropped from the show shortly after it was picked up. There’s no word yet on who will replace Rappaport.

Are you excited to see Mays in THE MILLERS?

What Surprised Liev Schreiber About His New Showtime Series, RAY DONOVAN?

Comments Off on What Surprised Liev Schreiber About His New Showtime Series, RAY DONOVAN?

For Liev Schreiber — who plays the titular RAY DONOVAN in the new Showtime series debuting this Sunday after DEXTER — his experience with television work has been fairly limited. (Apart from a handful of CSI episodes, Schreiber has mainly stuck to voice-over work for his television appearances.)

While there is absolutely no doubt some of the best acting opportunities are on television these days, committing to a show based on a pilot is often a huge leap of faith. So when Schreiber talked with reporters about his new series at the premiere event earlier this week, I asked him what surprised him the most in his experience with the show so far…

REVOLUTION: Jessica Collins Joins Season 2

Comments Off on REVOLUTION: Jessica Collins Joins Season 2

REVOLUTION has cast its first significant season 2 guest star: a rep for the show confirmed that RUBICON’s Jessica Collins will appear in a major arc next year.

According to Deadline (who was first to report the casting news), Collins will play Cynthia, a love interest for one of the male characters. While Deadline speculates it might be Miles (post-Nora’s finale death), given that the last seemed to hint the show was going to potentially move forward with the Miles/Rachel relationship, I wonder if perhaps she’ll be entangled with Monroe or Aaron?

Are you looking forward to seeing Collins on REVOLUTION?
