3. Sherlock
Mark this down as the year the internet wrote SHERLOCK. That’s a good thing. Arthur Conan Doyle only brought Sherlock back to life because he was tired of fans accosting him in the street, so really, Sherlock’s reunion with John Watson has always been fan service. Season 3 owned it, embraced the fandom, and stopped pretending to be anything other than absurd fun carried out by some of Britain’s best actors. Molly slapped Sherlock, Sherlock kissed Molly, John threw a bachelor party, and Lestrade kicked a car tire. Everyone wins.
