This episode is definitely the darkest of the series to date; we saw Eliza confess her feelings for Henry, and when he doesn’t reciprocate them, she spirals a bit. It’s an interesting look at the characters and their motivations, but ultimately necessary for the series, I think. I also liked that we saw each of them sing (and well!) and there was a lot of truth shared. This episode also did a nice job of intertwining characters from work and personal lives. It was, as the title states, an imperfect harmony.

“The Calm” was trash and Sara’s death pushed nothing. Stop buying the lines the producers are feeding you about that and examine how much of the season was really about Sara or her death. Hint: The answer’s 0%.
