Marvel’s Jeph Loeb was on hand to moderate the Marvel Television panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

AGENT CARTER stars Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), as well as executive producers Chris Dingess, Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas all stopped by to discuss season 2.

In addition, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson), Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Skye” Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell and Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie were in attendance to tease season 3.

Refresh to follow along with the panel…

3:09 PM: If you like the music from AGENT CARTER and AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., soundtracks will be released this fall.

3:11 PM: The AGENT CARTER crew came up first.

3:13 PM: What has the success of AGENT CARTER been like? Fazekas said that she loves the fan art and Butters buys all of it on Etsy. They say “it’s the best job we’ve ever had”, a sentiment that Atwell reiterated.

3:15 PM: D’Arcy says he was slightly worried because in the pilot Jarvis was making a soufflé and he can’t actually make one. He says he can “make a perfect spotted dick, but [I’m] not so good at the soufflé-making. But then they explained to me what acting is.” What really sold the show to him was that Jarvis was going to be with Peggy on the missions, although the producers warned that Peggy would be doing most of the action sequences.

3:19 PM: Attwell says that the quality of the writing is what drew her to the show because it allowed her to explore Peggy beyond how she was portrayed in the Captain America film. She had been worried the writers may not get her right, but when she read the pilot she was happy about Peggy’s characterization.

3:22 PM: In response to a fan question, Atwell said that Peggy dumping Captain America’s blood into the river at the end of season 1 of AGENT CARTER was absolutely the right decision. It was her way of getting closure and letting him go after trying to hold on to him throughout the first season. She was also concerned that if it got into the wrong hands someone would abuse that power and she can still keep his memory alive through the work that she does.

3:25 PM: Attwell says that Peggy is a very-indepenent spirit and the fact that she recognizes her own value is amazing. She also likes the fact that Jarvis is a person who recognizes her vulnerability and is able to grow close to her after her loss of Steve Rogers.

3:26 PM: As has been announced, AGENT CARTER is moving to California in season 2. The season will open six months after season 1 ended. People are in different positions and not everyone is in New York anymore. There’s some history and some people aren’t talking to each other any longer. Peggy will get called to Los Angeles to help investigate a murder. They love the idea of the glamour of old Hollywood and are looking forward to exploring that. Jarvis is also already in Beverly Hills helping Howard set up his new estate and has been doing some contract work for the government. The producers also hinted that Jarvis will be able to meet his wife.

3:30 PM: On the romantic front, the producers said that Peggy has put Steve’s memory to rest and has “a couple of new opportunities”.

3:40 PM: The AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. cast came up next. Unfortunately, they didn’t give many (or any, really) spoilers for the third season, but Gregg gave the best answer to an 8 year old girl about female-empowerment.

4:11 PM: Loeb dropped the spoiler at the end of the panel that the character of Lash is coming to the show.
