A MILLION LITTLE THINGS – “the lunch” – Gary accidentally crashes Maggie’s first date with a new guy, and Delilah is forced to have “the talk” with Sophie. Rome has an important meeting with a Hollywood big shot, while Eddie teaches Dakota a tough lesson in what it takes to succeed in the music business on an all-new episode of ABC’s “A Million Little Things,” airing THURSDAY, FEB. 27 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (ABC/Jeff Weddell)

On the Thursday, February 27 episode of A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, the episode—”the lunch”—is going to be a little bit different than normal.

“I’m excited [for fans] to see an episode where we don’t jump to a bunch of different places; we stay in one location,” series creator DJ Nash shared (in the video below) before the show’s Paley Center panel. “It’s our version of a a bottle episode.”

For Rome (Romany Malco), he has a lunch meeting which could massively impact his career—if his father doesn’t shake things up first. Maggie (Allison Miller), meanwhile, uses Regina (Christina Moses) and Delilah’s (Stephanie Szostak) restaurant as a safe place to meet a man for a first date. Unfortunately, Gary (James Roday) is also utilizing the space to try and get some work done.

“Maggie wants to be more ready than she is to be dating,” Miller admitted. “She maybe is jumping in too soon. But that’s up for interpretation.”

Outside of the restaurant, Eddie (David Giuntoli) has his hands full with Dakota (Anna Akana), who balks when she gets notes on her album.

“Dakota is going through the artists’ struggle,” Giuntoli noted. “Eddie’s been there. But she’s kind of behaving young about it—but, again, Eddie’s been there. He was probably there when he was 35…he is trying to teach her the ways.”
