Richard Kind will guest star in the second season of A MILLION LITTLE THINGS.

Kind will play Seymour, a longtime Dixon family friend—who has been MIA for a bit—that is recruited to take portrait of the changed clan.

“I’m so excited, I love him,” A MILLION LITTLE THINGS creator DJ Nash gushed.

But while the Dixon clan spent season 1 coping with the loss of Jon (Ron Livingston), “the news is fresh for [Seymour],” Nash previewed. “In a somewhat comedic way, he is grieving, while they are are in a good place and having to help someone else deal with it.”

Kind’s recent TV guest spots include LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, GOTHAM, and YOUNG SHELDON.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, Season Premiere, Thursday, September 26, 9/8c, ABC
