About Last Night...THE GOLDBERGS, SCHOOLED, SEAL TEAM, and More - Give Me My Remote : Give Me My Remote

THE GOLDBERGS – “Oates & Oates” – While throwing a telethon at their college to raise money for Earth Day, Barry attempts to woo Ren when he overpromises he can get Hall & Oates to perform. Meanwhile, Beverly attempts to set Bill up, but things go awry when he finds happiness with a woman he meets through Beverly’s enemy on an all-new episode of “The Goldbergs,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/Raymond Liu)

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: Oh my God, Adam and Barry as Hall & Oates. It feels perfectly fitting that they both didn’t coordinate and didn’t bother to really learn all of the words.

With Jessica St. Clair now in THE GOLDBERGS universe, please TV Gods (or, I guess in this case, Adam F. Goldberg), find a way to reunite her with SCHOOLED’s Lennon Parham.

THE MASKED SINGER: The Frog is good, but there’s no way he should have beaten Kitty. And ditto Banana and Rhino. But I’m thankful Kitty is still on, even though Banana was impressive.

SCHOOLED: Oh, God, CB may be the perfect man? Also, teachers should never be a part of the superlatives. BAD IDEA.

SEAL TEAM: I don’t think Ray will actually leave the team, but it feels like he’s on the cusp of making a big decision. (I know the season was clearly derailed by the real-world, so it’s possible it won’t even end up being addressed in the filmed episodes.)

The reasons for much of the team being split makes sense, but I already miss Sonny with the rest of Bravo. And Clay is there, but not really there. I’m curious how long this will last.

THE MASKED SINGER: AFTER THE MASK: The aftershow was a lot of fun, and I love the idea of having the fans there via Zoom (maybe?), but either they need to be turned down or the laugh track needs to go away. It distracted from an otherwise really impressive post-show.
