THE SIMPSONS, THE EQUALIZER, THE GREAT NORTH

“When Worlds Collide” – Bishop comes to McCall, Harry and Mel for help when a terrorist from his past uncovers the identity of his adult son, a young man Bishop has kept secret for decades to safeguard him from his intelligence work. Also, Aunt Vi becomes nostalgic about a past romantic relationship when she receives a surprise visitor, on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER, Sunday, Nov. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

THE SIMPSONS: This was a very sweet episode. There’s a bit of a risk every time the show goes back to early Mona stories given what they’ve established about her absence in Homer’s life, but this was a good way to handle things.

THE EQUALIZER: Wow, I loved Bishop and his son together. (But I’m with Robyn: His son absolutely knows the truth.) I loved getting glimpses in Bishop’s past (and heart), because he really has felt like the most mysterious character on the show so far.

But, ugh, poor Harry. I’m looking forward to the team working together to get him out of this…somehow???

THE GREAT NORTH: New Kids on the Dock! Oh my God, I laughed every time they showed up.

I loved Tusk returning, even if he did bring a bit of mayhem to the family. I hope the show is able to bring him back every season to just cause a little bit of Tusk-like trouble.

BOB’S BURGERS: I’m sad for Tina that her photo negative (of the sole good photo she took) was destroyed, but I loved her attempt to recreate it and ending up with something cooler/more unique.

FAMILY GUY: It was fun to see the show step so thoroughly outside of its own box, and in some ways just live within a cutaway story. But, man, I can’t believe Meg wasn’t the killer.
