FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Heida Reed Previews the Team’s Unexpected Next Destination

“Chew Toy” – When an NYPD officer is detained in Transnistria for aggravated assault, the Fly Team investigates his claims of infiltrating a sex trafficking ring being concealed by those in power. Also, Forrester receives an unusual message from an unknown sender, on the CBS Original series FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Feb. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

The FBI: INTERNATIONAL Fly Team has traveled across Europe helping Americans in trouble, and the Tuesday, February 1 hour “Chew Toy” finds the federal agents in an unfamiliar place: Transnistria.
“We’re going to an unrecognized territory in Europe,” Heida Reed, who plays Special Agent Jamie Kellett previews of the hour, which has the team trying to help an NYPD officer who was suspected of assault. “I’m sure no one minds me saying that I think most of us had to Google that it was a real place. So that was really fascinating to me—that we are in a territory which most people, I think, don’t know about. That’s kind of exciting.”
“I think most people will probably be Googling this place,” she continues. “Having said that, I had heard of the city before, but the fact that it’s a country on its own was a discovery for me.”
Despite the amount of on-screen traveling the team does, Reed praises the CBS drama’s home base in Budapest for being able to portray their locations thus far. “Hungary is amazing for doubling so many different European cities,” she says. “It feels a little bit like Rome. It feels like Paris. It feels like Copenhagen—that’s why it is the perfect place [for us]. I was surprised about Belfast, but they really pulled it off as well.”
