FBI Most Wanted Season 3 Finale preview

“A Man Without a Country” – The team chases an oligarch who goes on a terror spree in New York City in a desperate attempt to escape his impossible situation, on the third season finale of the CBS Original series FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, May 24 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

When federal agents get taken out—and art is stolen—the Fugitive Task Force is called to the scene on the Tuesday, May 24 season finale of FBI: MOST WANTED.

“We’re dealing with probably the most lethal criminal of the entire season in Sarkov,” Dylan McDermott previews of the oligarch who quickly becomes the team’s prime suspect. “There’s a lot at stake here. It was biggest episode we shot in the six episodes I’ve been on.”

As Sarkov (Rudolf Martin) goes to extreme lengths to get what he wants, he makes it clear he’s willing to terrorize New York City, if necessary, too. “I think it’s fun when you see [us tracking someone] in the city, because that brings its own set of problems and excitement, as well,” McDermott says. “So it’s always fun to be in the city. Normally, an episode is nine days; I think this was 13 days. We were everywhere: We were in New Jersey. We were in New York, we were Upstate. I think we had a different location every single day. This was jam-packed.”

Unfortunately for the FTF, Sarkov is also well-researched…which they discover when he reaches out to threaten the people the team members love the most.

“What’s different about this case, certainly, is that Sarkov is involving the team’s families,” McDermott acknowledges. “And that hasn’t happened certainly when I’ve been with the team. So the stakes are much higher. We have to move them to a safe place; they are in danger. They’re in jeopardy. Obviously, Remy coming home and trying to take care of his mom, sister—and [still coming to terms with] the loss of his brother—and then the team being one man down [in the finale]. This is a real stressful episode for Remy, for personal and professional reasons.”

“He obviously doesn’t want to mess up, because he’s got so much on his plate already,” he continues. “And the fact that we can lose family members—I think it would be too much for Remy, honestly.”

But there is a bit of light for Remy in the hour, when the team is unexpectedly joined by Agent May (Bhavesh Patel), an expert in art crimes.

“I just thought that was a great storyline,” McDermott says. “I didn’t know the FBI even had an Art Crimes Division—we might get another spin off: FBI: ART CRIMES. That was really fun: the fact that this guy comes in, and he’s so excited about the art, and his relationship with Remy.”

“I just thought it was really fun. too, because he wants to please him,” he continues. “[Remy] said a lot of jokes to him. So I just thought that was fun to have that dynamic while everything is just so heightened in this episode.”
