Bryan Goluboff has joined LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME as showrunner for season 3, a rep for the series has confirmed.

Goluboff spent last season working on LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT—notably, he co-wrote “I Thought You Were on My Side,” the unofficial crossover hour which found the SVU squad working with OCCB (including Christopher Meloni’s Stabler and Danielle Moné Truitt’s Bell) on a case.

His previous credits include LIGHTS OUT, SMASH, BLUE BLOODs, and MR. MERCEDES. (He also worked on SVU in season 13.)

Goluboff replaces temporary showrunner Barry O’Brien, who finished out the end of season 2 after Ilene Chaiken’s exit. O’Brien will remain with the series as a writer.

Deadline was first to report the news.

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, Fall, Thursdays, 10/9c, NBC
