MAGNUM P.I. is getting a second a new home.

NBC has picked up the recently-canceled procedural, a source confirms. According to Deadline, which was first to report the news, the 20-episode order will be split into two seasons.

MAGNUM P.I., a reboot of the Tom Selleck series by the same name, followed “Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator.” The drama stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill.

The series was canceled on May 12, days after its fourth season finale aired. The possible NBC revival leaked in early June, with the deal coming right before the casts’ options expired.
