LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT Recap: Rollins Debates a Big Offer

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT’s Rollins (Kelli Giddish) debated a big decision about her future on the Thursday, November 17 episode, “A Better Person.”

Weeks after subbing for Carisi (Peter Scanavino) at a Fordham lecture, the ADA had news—and champagne—for Rollins as the episode started.

“You blew those kids at Fordham away,” he said. “My old college roommate was impressed. And he called me today to put out some feelers… the way he puts it, they’re going to approach you with a job offer; a teaching position.”

While Rollins objected, noting she’s not a professor, Carisi pointed out, “but you are an expert in forensic psychology. After you got shot you’ve been hinting that you might need a change. I thought this might be perfect.”

“Stop being a lawyer for five seconds,” Rollins replied. “I didn’t mean leaving SVU.”

Carisi cautioned Rollins not to say no yet—to enjoy the champagne and think about it. After a tough case, Rollins still hadn’t officially said yes…but Benson (Mariska Hargitay) addressed her as “professor.”
